Country Coach Friends Incorporated Club Rally Raises $4,700 for Junction City Local Aid

Country Coach Friends Incorporated has supported JCLA since the club formed in 2011 just miles from where all Country Coaches were originally built.

Recently I presented $4,700 to the Junction City Local Aid organization in Junction City, OR on behalf of Country Coach Friends Incorporated (CCFI), an international chapter of Family Motor Coach Association. Donating to Junction City Local Aid has become an annual CCFI Friendship Rally Tradition. The monies were raised during the CCFI club’s annual Oregon return for its CCFI Friendship Rally held in Redmond, Oregon.

JCLA helps more than 20% of the population of the Junction City school district (9,000 annually). JCLA provides food for an average of 250 households per month. JCLA is staffed by 60 plus volunteers per month logging in over 600 plus hours of service. Junction City Local Aid was begun as an informal local community chest in 1945 by area churches and individuals.

Today, Junction City Local Aid is located in the former Country Coach LLC’s Customer Care Center at 210 E Sixth Avenue, thanks to a generous purchase agreement between JCLA and Country Coach original founders Bob & Terry Lee. Local Aid operates with the assistance of many, many volunteers and the oversight of a volunteer Board of Directors. Local Aid is a United Way agency, a partner food bank of FOOD for Lane County, and a member of the Tri-County Chamber of Commerce.

Country Coach Friends Incorporated is an International FMCA Chapter comprised of Country Coach and Other Brand Owners. Rallies and membership are open to all motorhome owners.
