Where's Country Coach Specialist Chris Snyder Gone?

Chris Snyder, Assistant Service Manager
At work at Country Coach Corporation, Junction City, OR

I was involved in Country Coach Inc / Country Coach, LLC life for nearly 20 years in Marketing before Country Coach LLC closed its doors. Through those years I occasionally crossed paths with Chris Snyder in airports as we both were traveling to and from motorcoach rallies. Later, when I invested a year helping out an RV club after CC, LLC closed it doors, many were the times a call came in from a coach owner asking for a referral for qualified service in Arizona. Chris Snyder is one of the Country Coach Specialists who always came to mind (Eric Olstrom was the other). Chris had quite a reputation for taking good care of people and if he didn't have the ability to address their coach issues, he always offered good help on where they might go. These last several months, however, if you were used to seeing Chris Snyder, of Snyder Mobile RV Service, in Tucson, you may have been wondering where he has gone.

On January 3rd 1989 Chris started at Country Coach in the bus conversion department as a plumber, installing appliances, fresh water lines, bay walls and Webasto heating systems. In 1992, he moved to the bus service department as a technician where he handled Prevost service repairs. Within two years, he became Team Lead responsible for a group of technicians. End of 2002, Chris  transferred to Tucson, Arizona as Country Coach, LLC's Southwest Dealer Service Representative. Chris said “my duties in that role were to handle warranty claims and train technicians and sales personnel on the operation of Country Coaches.” In July of 2007, Chris returned to Junction City to become service manager with 40 employees to oversee as he managed daily operations of the entire service department. In May of 2008, he moved back to Tucson and the job of dealer service representative until the closure of Country Coach, LLC.

Chris launched “Snyder Mobile RV” to help Country Coach owners with their service needs and traveled anywhere in Arizona with his mobile service. Chris and his family decided to move 'home' to Oregon, and he went to work as assistant service manager at Country Coach in 2013. Now he's relocated to Roseburg to be close to his family--tiring of that commute up I-5.
